Urogynecology & Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Fellowship

Training mode

You join the urogynaecology unit as a fellow under an assigned senior consultant, one-to-one, for the full placement.

• In theatre: you scrub in on pelvic floor lists from the start. Your role grows from exposure and assisting to performing repair steps, as your consultant judges you ready.
• In clinic: you assess prolapse and incontinence patients, including urodynamic studies.
• On the ward: you follow your patients through recovery.
• Academic: you take part in case discussions.

Your actual level of involvement (observing, assisting, or performing steps under supervision) is decided by your supervising consultant, based on your previous experience, skills, competency, and overall performance.

Training location

We offer this Fellowship Program in collaboration with several well-known hospitals across India. Final acceptance is subject to the applicant's proposed training dates, hospital schedules, and consultant availability.

Certificate

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Training Certificate issued by the hosting hospital, recognizing your participation and clinical training.

Duration and costs

NMC temporary license

This is the authorization issued by the National Medical Commission for foreign doctors undertaking practical medical training in India.

The licensing process typically takes approximately two months, and our office will coordinate and handle the necessary procedures on your behalf. We therefore recommend planning your proposed training dates accordingly.
