You're assigned to a senior consultant for the full program, moving with them through rounds, procedures, and daily clinical decisions.
You take part in procedures alongside the surgical team, with your role defined by your supervising consultant.
The number of procedural steps you perform yourself increases progressively, based on your consultant's direct assessment of your experience, skill, and performance.
Training also covers outpatient consultations, outreach camps and the department's academic meetings, giving a complete view of clinical practice.
