Pediatric Emergency & Critical Care Fellowship

Training mode

You join the paediatric emergency and intensive care units as a fellow under an assigned senior consultant, one-to-one, for the full placement.

• In the PICU: you manage critically ill children alongside your consultant. Your role in procedures grows from assisting to performing, as your consultant judges you ready.
• In the emergency department: you join the team on paediatric resuscitation and stabilisation.
• Procedures: you take part in airway management, line insertion and bedside ultrasound.
• Academic: you take part in case reviews and simulation sessions.

Your actual level of involvement (observing, assisting, or performing steps under supervision) is decided by your supervising consultant, based on your previous experience, skills, competency, and overall performance.

Training location

We offer this Fellowship Program in collaboration with several well-known hospitals across India. Final acceptance is subject to the applicant's proposed training dates, hospital schedules, and consultant availability.

Certificate

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Training Certificate issued by the hosting hospital, recognizing your participation and clinical training.

Duration and costs

NMC temporary license

This is the authorization issued by the National Medical Commission for foreign doctors undertaking practical medical training in India.

The licensing process typically takes approximately two months, and our office will coordinate and handle the necessary procedures on your behalf. We therefore recommend planning your proposed training dates accordingly.
