Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
Hands-on training in coronary and structural interventions at high-volume cath labs in India.
Training mode
You join the interventional cardiology unit as a fellow under an assigned senior consultant, one-to-one, for the full placement.
- In the cath lab: you scrub in on diagnostic and interventional lists from the start. Your role grows from radial and femoral access and catheter handling to wiring and stent deployment, as your consultant judges you ready.
- Emergency cases: you join the team on primary PCI for acute heart attacks.
- CCU & clinic: you follow your patients in the coronary care unit and take part in pre-procedure assessment.
- Academic: you take part in angiogram reviews and heart team discussions.
Your actual level of involvement (observing, assisting, or performing steps under supervision) is decided by your supervising consultant, based on your previous experience, skills, competency, and overall performance.

Training location
We offer this Fellowship Program in collaboration with several well-known hospitals across India. Final acceptance is subject to the applicant's proposed training dates, hospital schedules, and consultant availability.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Training Certificate issued by the hosting hospital, recognizing your participation and clinical training.

The registration fee secures your placement and covers the NMC and hospital paperwork.
NMC temporary license
This is the authorization issued by the National Medical Commission for foreign doctors undertaking practical medical training in India.
The licensing process typically takes approximately two months, and our office will coordinate and handle the necessary procedures on your behalf. We therefore recommend planning your proposed training dates accordingly.
