Emergency & Trauma Medicine Fellowship

Training mode

You join the emergency department as a fellow under an assigned senior consultant, one-to-one, for the full placement.

• In resus: you join the team on trauma and medical resuscitation. Your role grows from assisting to leading steps, as your consultant judges you ready.
• Procedures: you take part in airway management, bedside ultrasound and procedural sedation.
• Triage: you work in the department's triage and acute assessment areas.
• Academic: you take part in case reviews and simulation sessions.

Your actual level of involvement (observing, assisting, or performing steps under supervision) is decided by your supervising consultant, based on your previous experience, skills, competency, and overall performance.

Training location

We offer this Fellowship Program in collaboration with several well-known hospitals across India. Final acceptance is subject to the applicant's proposed training dates, hospital schedules, and consultant availability.

Certificate

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Training Certificate issued by the hosting hospital, recognizing your participation and clinical training.

Duration and costs

NMC temporary license

This is the authorization issued by the National Medical Commission for foreign doctors undertaking practical medical training in India.

The licensing process typically takes approximately two months, and our office will coordinate and handle the necessary procedures on your behalf. We therefore recommend planning your proposed training dates accordingly.
