Cardiac & Neuro Anesthesia Fellowship
Hands-on training in anaesthesia for cardiac and neurosurgical procedures.
Training mode
You join the cardiac and neuro anaesthesia department as a fellow under an assigned senior consultant, one-to-one, for the full placement.
- In theatre: you work alongside your consultant from the start. Your role grows from invasive line insertion and induction to full case management, as your consultant judges you ready.
- Monitoring: you learn intra-operative TEE and neuromonitoring alongside the surgical team.
- In the ICU: you follow your patients through cardiac and neuro intensive care.
- Academic: you take part in the department's case discussions.
Your actual level of involvement (observing, assisting, or performing steps under supervision) is decided by your supervising consultant, based on your previous experience, skills, competency, and overall performance.

Training location
We offer this Fellowship Program in collaboration with several well-known hospitals across India. Final acceptance is subject to the applicant's proposed training dates, hospital schedules, and consultant availability.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Training Certificate issued by the hosting hospital, recognizing your participation and clinical training.

The registration fee secures your placement and covers the NMC and hospital paperwork.
NMC temporary license
This is the authorization issued by the National Medical Commission for foreign doctors undertaking practical medical training in India.
The licensing process typically takes approximately two months, and our office will coordinate and handle the necessary procedures on your behalf. We therefore recommend planning your proposed training dates accordingly.
